Shore Leave, A fan run Science Fiction Convention
Mary Fan is a hopeless dreamer whose mind insists on spinning tales of "what if." She is the author of the Jane Colt sci-fi trilogy, comprising Artificial Absolutes (Red Adept Publishing, 2013), Synthetic Illusions (Red Adept Publishing, 2014), and Virtual Shadows (2015), and the co-editor of Brave New Girls: Tales of Girls and Gadgets, a young adult sci-fi anthology about tech-savvy girls that aims to inspire more young women to enter science and technology careers. She is also the author of the forthcoming Flynn Nightsider and Fated Stars series, to be published by Glass House Press.
Mary has a B.A. in Music (specializing in composition) from Princeton University. When she doesn't have her nose buried in either a book or a laptop, she can usually be found at the opera house, the beer garden, or on an airplane heading anywhere.
