Marta Kristen

Marta Kristen is a Norwegian-born American actress who is best known for her role in the classic science-fiction television series Lost in Space. Even though she appeared in many TV shows and movies during her career, she is most famous for being part of this popular and imaginative series from the 1960s.

In Lost in Space (1965–1968), Marta Kristen played Judy Robinson, the oldest daughter in the Robinson family. Judy was smart, responsible, and often acted as a role model for her younger brother and sisters. She also showed bravery and kindness while dealing with dangerous situations on alien planets. Marta Kristen’s performance helped make Judy a relatable and realistic character, especially for young viewers watching the show at the time.

Before and during Lost in Space, Kristen appeared in several other television shows, including The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Donna Reed Show, and The Twilight Zone. After Lost in Space ended, she has remained closely connected to her fans and has appeared at science-fiction conventions and special events related to Lost in Space.
