Glen Swanson
Glen E. Swanson is the former chief historian of NASA’s Johnson Space Center and the author of Inspired Enterprise: How NASA, the Smithsonian and the Aerospace Community Helped Launch Star Trek. Published by Schiffer, the book examines how experts and organizations lent their knowledge to the show, giving Star Trek a level of authenticity that helped legitimize and popularize the original television series.
Glen is also the founder of Quest: The History of Spaceflight Quarterly, the world’s only peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the history of spaceflight, which has been in continuous publication for over thirty years.
