8 We are excited to announce the inauguration of a new programming track – the Shore Leave Fan Film Program! Shore Leave has shown fan films before, but never like this! We are showing over ten hours of some of the best work the science fiction fan film world has to offer, made by amateur, mixed (amateur and professional), and other non-traditional film-making groups.

4 We regret to announce that Adam Baldwin has been forced to cancel his appearance at Shore Leave due to professional commitments. We're pleased to announce however that Jewel Staite will be appearing in his place. Jewel will be participating in Photo Ops with our other guests.

David Hewlett, George Takei, and Malcolm McDowell will sign one item, plus Photo Op photos, free of charge during the Official Autograph Sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Jewel Staite, Kate Hewlett, Mark Sheppard, W.M. Sheppard, and Leah Cairns will be charging a fee for all autographs.

11 We're pleased to announce the addition of Leah Cairns to our guest line up. Leah will be participating in Photo Ops, as will each of our other actor guests.

3 Long time Shore Leave guests Keith DeCandido and Greg Cox are nominees/finalists for the SCRIBE awards!

Greg and Keith were both nominated for Best Speculative Fiction Adapted, Greg for 52, Keith for Resident Evil: Extinction. Keith also got a nod for YA Original for Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Deathless and for SpecFic Original for Star Trek: The Next Generation: Q.&A.

14 We're pleased to announce the addition of the Brother & Sister team of David and Kate Hewlett.

12 We're pleased to announce the addition of Adam Baldwin to our guest line up. Adam will be participating in Photo Ops, as will all of our other actor guests. Also joining our line up are scientist Paul Abell and writers Amy Sisson and Allyn Gibson. And returning this year, also look for The Boogie Knights and Luna-C!
