Shore Leave 30 Guest: William Leisner![]() Biography: William Leisner began writing at age six, scripting and drawing comic strips that featured his younger siblings, their animate stuffed animals, and lots of potty humor. His story "Ambition" appeared in Constellations, the Star Trek Fortieth Anniversary anthology. Last year, he helped celebrate the Twentieth Anniversary of The Next Generation with The Insolence of Office, the third installment of the six-part eBook miniseries, Slings and Arrows. And this summer, one of his stories will be in "Myriad Universes: Infinity's Prism." His other credits include the Starfleet Corps of Engineers novella Out of the Cocoon, stories in volumes II, IV and V of Strange New Worlds, including the prize-winning "The Trouble with Borg Tribbles," plus a story concept sale to the producers of Star Trek: Voyager.
