Shore Leave 30 Guest: Scott Pearson![]() Biography: Scott Pearson has been a raving Star Trek fan for over thirty years. He was first published in 1987 with "The Mailbox," a short story about an old farming couple, and he is the co-author of The Mosquito Book, a funny and fact-filled book about everyone's least favorite insect. Strange New Worlds VII included his Scotty story "Full Circle." His follow-up Scotty story, "Terra Tonight," appeared in Strange New Worlds 9. His latest Star Trek story, "Among the Clouds," is in the Star Trek: The Next Generation twentieth anniversary anthology The Sky's the Limit . On weekdays Scott is an associate editor for Zenith Press, a military history publisher, and on weekends he is an editor for X-communication, a regional publisher out of Duluth, Minnesota. In his scant free time he works on his own writing, such as his first mystery short story, "Out of the Jacuzzi, Into the Sauna," available in the anthology Resort to Murder. Scott lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Sandra, who is not into Star Trek, and their ten-year-old daughter, Ella, who is. They just happen to live across the street from the college where Scott saw Gene Roddenberry speak in 1986. Visit Scott Pearson's official web site at http://www.yeahsure.net Bibliography:
