Shore Leave 30 Guest: Robert Greenberger
Biography:
Bob is a veteran Shore Leave guest, always bringing the latest news on movies, TV, Star Trek, comics and an odd assortment of other stuff. After spending 25 years in publishing, with DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Starlog Press, Bob transitioned to the freelance writer's life last year. Since then, he has written for a surprisingly diverse set of clients including sci-fi.com, Marvel.com, The Cooperator, Fairfield Magazine, and others. Each week he uncovers new information for the pages of Weekly World News, where he also chronicles the adventures of Matt Daemon SOS (Seeker of Obscure Supernaturals). He continues to write young adult non-fiction for Rosen Publishing, most recently completing In the News: Suicide Bombers and Cutting Edge Careers: Artificial Intelligence. His next Star Trek efforts include "The Landing Party" for Star Trek: Constellations and Corps of Engineers #2: "Troubleshooting." In the fall he won elected office as a Town Representative, so he is now braving new frontiers. He continues to live in Connecticut with his delightful wife Deb and their children, Kate and Robbie.
