Biography:
Marco Palmieri has been an editor at Pocket Books since 1996, focusing primarily on developing Star Trek fiction. Among the titles under his stewardship have been the line of Deep Space Nine novels set after the end of the television series (including Avatar, Unity, and Warpath, to name a few); new Star Trek fiction concepts such as Titan and Vanguard; miniseries such as The Lost Era and Section 31; anthologies such as The Lives of Dax and Distant Shores; standalones such as Ex Machina and Immortal Coil, and many others. Upcoming projects include numerous 40th-anniversary Star Trek books, such as the standalone novel Burning Dreams, chronicling the life of Captain Christopher Pike; the Crucible trilogy; the anthology Constellations; and Voyages of Imagination: The Star Trek Fiction Companion. New last year were Mirror Universe, two volumes of new collected novellas, edited in partnership with Margaret Clark; projects for the 20th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation; and Terok Nor, focusing on the Cardassian occupation of Bajor.
