Biography:
When Allyn Gibson was very young he discovered something wonderful - Words. He began to use them, he learned to put them together, he tried to be coherent with them, he wanted to pick up girls with them, and one day he even learned how to spell them. Then, in his twenties, Allyn discovered that people would pay him for his words. With short stories in Star Trek: New Frontier: No Limits and the acclaimed "Make-Believe" in Star Trek: Constellations, the Star Trek: Corps of Engineers novella "Ring Around the Sky" (collected in last year's Grand Designs omnibus), and recent work for Star Trek Magazine, Allyn's writings have been largely confined to Gene Roddenberry's universe. But in 2007 that began to change - Allyn ditched a decade of video game retail to write for the comic book industry, and in 2008 Big Finish releasedthe anthology Doctor Who: The Quality of Leadership, featuring Allyn's first work with the Time Lord from Gallifrey.
